I'll start off with some old ones I just found in a photo album. John Hartford back in 198? on the hill. Not even sure what the official name was of the festival back then, probably Berkshires Mountains.

John miked himself with a radio transmitter so he could dance around the stage. It also allowed him to walk right off the stage and deep into the crowd while being amplified through the stage speakers!
